Thesis: Although college students are assumed to be more mature and astute than high school students, it appears many students are still stuck in the past with more freedom than ever. a. My thesis proposes the argument that many college students do not understand and appreciate the impact that college will have on their lives. The SMQ is problematic because when aimed at students, many students will have different views concerning their college career. Ones idea of taking advantage of college can differ from another’s view. It is quite obviously significant because college is not only a giant endeavor money wise, but the result of college will determine what direction one life goes in. If a student believes that college is a party and doesn’t focus on their studies, after four years they may be left with nothing but good memories and a beer can.
