Laquesha Walker OL 342- Organizational Behavior 4-2 Journal: Individual Perception When managing any conflicts within the workplace as a manager, it is very important to always take into consideration each of the individual’s perception. When it comes to different people that work in the workplace, it is important to understand that different people will have different viewpoints or similar viewpoints on certain situations that may occur, which can lead to conflicts in the workplace. When dealing with any conflict, I would have a sit down with everyone that is involved in the conflict and be opened to hearing everyone’s side and find a solution so that everyone can be on the same page. After reading this week’s reading, it suggest that more communication, having and opened mind, and being aware of sensitive issues will provide a better chance of defining objectives, so that people do not conflict with each other.
