All responses to other students’ postsshould be submitted bySaturday (7 August), 5 pm of Week 2.
GBA(30% of final mark)Part 1 (80%):an800-word written script used for the recorded presentation. This script must include all ofthe text that will be spoken in the presentation as well as citations, a list of references, and a list of thegroup members and their topics.The 800-word limit excludes in-text citations as well as the list ofreferences.Without the script, your GBA will be given a score of zero. The script due date is the same asthe video submission due date.Part 2 (20%):a 7-minute recorded presentation using Zoom. The recording shouldnot exceed 7 minutesexcluding end credits and references. Ensure that it is submitted well before the deadline to avoid anytechnical problems.
GBA(30% of final mark)Discuss around the topicinequality (Unit 2) and inclusivity (Unit 4) through the case study of a vulnerablepopulation in Singapore’s urban space (Unit 3).Vulnerabilityrefers to groups who have been disadvantaged due to current urban planning or ways of organisingthe city whether intentional or unintentional. Vulnerable groups change over time, work with other actors, andare part of the city although they are often marginalised or excluded from decision-making.Inequality in cities(Unit 2) can be observed in social groups through economic inequality or unequal accesseducation, welfare services and basic housing. DO NOTchoose migrant workers as your case study.Inclusivity in cities(Unit 4) refers to the inclusion of social groups in civil society as demonstrated in theirparticipation in urban planning, welfare services or community-based programs.
