Chris Nederostek Management 251 Exercise Set #1 1) For my SWOT analysis, I chose to use the United States Postal Service. 2) The Postal Service already has most of the market available to them, so I feel as though a market penetration strategy would be the best for them. They can target the customers they already have, since they deliver to every household in the United States. This is better than the others because they do not have any markets to really expand to and they have offered package delivery for a long time so there is not really any new products for them either. 3)The product I chose was Athletic Sneakers and the two segments I chose were geographic region and product usage. Geographic Region Product Usage High Priced Sports Specfic Depending on the region, these could be marketed to those who want a competitive edge. They could marketed to specific regions in which particular sports are prevelant. Also, they could be target marketed in upper middle class and higher areas that
