Energy Consumption Diary 9/20/2007 -woke up with Roomie to cell phone alarm, turned on room lights, 8am -brushed teeth, washed face, ect. In bathroom (running water) -common room lights and bathroom lights had been on 24 hours (all night) -left for class, 9am (turned off room lights) -returned, 11am -Computer has been on for 24 hours -turned on room lights (in room 3 hours) -roomie returns from class at 2, shared lights from 2-8pm -drove to stop and shop alone -washed face, brushed teeth, ect. 9/21/2007 -woke up 8am (with roommate) -turned on room lights  -common room lights on all night -bathroom lights on all night -computer on all night -blow dried hair to style it (10 min) -left at 2 for Cape Cod 86.96 miles - charged cell phone at home (3 hours) -microwave lunch and watched TV with Brother -microwave dinner -checked facebook/mail/homework on computer -did laundry (50 min) as I worked out on Elliptical (20 min) -Took a shower (hot water heater = 950 watts) for 20 min -got dressed (lights turned on in room) -bathroom fan/vent on to clear steam (30 min) -talked to mom in the kitchen (the frig has be running) 9/22/2007 -worked out (15 min) -Showered with vent/fan on -15 min shower -vent/fan on 20 min

-drove to stop and shop and home -microwave lunch -charged cell phone -family party (nine people): Living room lights Kitchen lights Dining room lights -helped mom and dad clean after party (kitchen 3 people) -watched TV for an hour -went to my room to check e-mail, facebook/ect. 9/23/2007 -worked out 20 min -did laundry -microwave breakfast (eggs) 5 min -watched morning cartoons -drove to harbor and back -boat ride -drove with mom to food shop for dinner -microwave snack (3 min) -did more laundry (50 min) -lights in kitchen for dinner (four people) three hours -lights in bedroom 5 hours  -turned on dishwasher 9/24/2007 -worked out in the morning (20 min) -showered with fan/vent -microwave breakfast -blow dried my hair and checked e-mail -drove back to school -went to classes until dinner -dinner at salmo -lights in the room (shared by roomie and boyfriend), bathroom, and common room are all on -turned on computer and restyled hair before bed 9/25/2007

-woke at 8am to cell phone alarm, roomie, boyfriend and I -bathroom lights have been on all night, as well as common room lights, and my computer -shower -blow dried hair -checked e-mail, roomie’s boyfriend leaves, so only two of us sharing lights. -leave for classes -come back (roomie still has lights on) -leave for target (car) 9/26/2007 -woke at 8am to cell phone alarm (roomie not here) -turned on room light and went to bathroom (lights have been on all night in common room,  bathroom, and computer)
