Alexa Popovich 4/29/13 Baby project part 3 After learning that our child had Tay-Sachs disease we still decided to have it. On  April 4 th  we gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She was 7 pounds 7ounces. I couldn’t be  happier. Unfortunately she died at the age of 3 like the doctors predicted. When she died  we were devastated. I didn’t get out of bed for weeks and my husband wouldn’t say  anything.  One day I saw an ad for foster care on the Internet. I decided to research it. Foster  care provides children with shelter for those who cannot live with his/her own family.  Many of the children that come to foster care are children of neglect, abuse, family crisis, or the child's acting out at home. Foster care is meant to be temporary until problems at  home can be worked out. If this is not possible, family members and other persons  important to the child are contacted to see if they can give a permanent home to the child. Sometimes foster families are asked to provide permanent foster care or to adopt the child in their care ("Carver County - What is Foster Care and Why is it Needed?", 2013). “On

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
