Students taking Chem004 must complete the laboratory requirement concurrently. In order to obtain a passing grade in the course, you will need to complete and obtain a passing grade for the lecture and the laboratory requirement.

2 Course Format Course Format Exams Three non-cumulative multiple choice exams. February 27, April 3, and May 1. No final exam. Absences No student will be excused from taking an exam at the schedule time without the prior permission of the instructor. The excused status means that you will be given the right to make up the work you miss. The make up exam is comprehensive and it will be given at the end of the term (May 3). Grading Grading Three one-hour exams (3 x 100 ). ...300 points Lab reports. ............................... …...100 points Total. ........................................ …….400 points Extra Credit…………………………. ...20 points Passing grade: Passing grade: at least 180 out of the 300 exam points (60%) + at least 60 out of the 100 lab points (60%) Academic Integrity Academic Integrity All members of the community are expected to exhibit honesty and competence in their academic work.
