Rosas University President Dear Sir: In line with the Senior High School Work Immersion Program, we, the students of Grade 12 ABM strand under the provision of Prof. Rachelle E. Esperanza would like to request your good office to allow us to conduct a three-day seminar for all graduating students of Senior High School Program with the theme “ Early Preparation for a Better Future .” If permitted, this activity will be held on August 22 to 24, 2018 , with each day having two sessions from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM , at the PSB Multi-Purpose Hall . The topics and speakers for these series of seminars are as follows: Topics Speakers Pre-Employment Planning 101 Dr. Janine Moneda-Dela Cruz Program Coordinator, HRDM Faculty, College of Business Administration It’s All About Self-Marketing Dr. Daniel E. Hebron Program Coordinator, Marketing Management Faculty, College of Business Administration It’s All About Self-Marketing Prof. Lorna Boiung The aims of this activity are as follows: 1. Prepare the graduating students for their future career. 2. Give competitive advantage to our grade 12 students by upgrading their knowledge on how to brand themselves in college and in their workplace in the future. 3. Provide support for the University in the realization of its vision, mission, goals, and objective through this activity. 4. Give an opportunity to the ABM strand to have funds for their future activities. In view of this, we are respectfully requesting that we will be allowed to charge a seminar fee of Php 120.00 per student attendee to cover the expenses for the seminar kit, certificates, tokens/prizes, and payment for the venue and equipment to be used. We will give back a rebate of Php 10.00 for the University general fund. We would also like to ask for your permission to allow us to solicit sponsors for some tokens and small items as freebies for the participants. The exchange deal is for them to advertise through fliers, stand out signages, and tarpaulins. If permitted, the organizers and coordinators will wear a formal attire, specifically a Sunday dress while the attending students will still wear the prescribed uniform.
This activity is an actual application of the principles, theories, and concepts that we learned from various subjects and courses under the K-12 Senior High School program. Specifically, this activity will test our accounting, entrepreneurial, events planning, and marketing skills.
