Emphasis ison effective rhetorical choices, including audience, purpose, arrangement and style. Focus is onwriting the academic essay as a vehicle for learning, communicating, and critical analysis.Prerequisites: Reading level 7 and Writing level 7 (3:3-0)COURSE MATERIALS:The Norton Field Guide to Writing with Readings, 5thEd. (green cover).ISBN-13:978-0393655780. You have a few options for accessing this:1.“Opt-in” to access the digital version of the text via Blackboard (see the “CourseMaterials Info” tab within my Blackboard course to opt-in or out; this is the cheapestoption for getting the text.
