Assignment 03 is the portfolio and will constitute the final examination for this module. It
will be available from the start of the semester and you can submit it any time. Your
portfolio must consist of the following documents:

3 The honesty declaration and formal requirements. (5)
Please remember: In all cases the assessment of your answers will include not only the

Read the following article found under Additional resources -> and then answer the
questions:
Wing AK "A critical race feminist conceptualisation of violence: South African

1. Give a concise summary of the author's viewpoint. Make sure you concentrate on legal
philosophy and not so much legislation. (Max 300 words.) (10)
2. You will realise that this article does not fit neatly into any of the categories of
philosophies you have studied. Give a reasoned answer as
philosophy/philosophies her viewpoint fits best. For this you might need to combine ideas
or introduce new ones. (Max 600 words.) (15)
