Article Review on Technology 2
Technology has become a tool that can be used to motivate and engage students into daily
lessons. As a whole we have become a world that is technology savvy, and one way to ensure
students will be prepared and equipped for the real world is be incorporating technology into
their lesson plans. I read an insightful article entitled “New Technologies in the Classroom” by
Jodi Pilgrim, Christie Bledsoe and Susan Reily. The article goes in depth about the current and
potential use of new technology in the classroom. There are many things such as tablets, cell
phones, and wireless devices that have been influential with changing instruction and learning in
the classroom. These three authors share ways that educators can effectively utilize new
technologies that will be beneficial to the student.
The impact of technology has changed the views of how educators look upon
