The factor of personality I choose to talk about is extraversion. Extraversion for a personthat scores on the higher end is defined as a person with positive emotions, assertiveness, sociability, fun-loving and talkativeness. A person that scores on the lower end is defined as quit,reserved, passive, has a difficulty in expressing strong emotions (Feist, Feist, and Roberts, 2013, Pgs 382-384).When reading about this personality trait there are several Biblical characters that come to mind. However, there is one name that stands out when I consider a character high in extraversion– King David. David was a man after God’s own heart; he was full of passion even from a young shepherd boy! We read in 1 Samuel 17: 33-37 (NIV), Your servant has killed boththe lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God.The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine” (
