Sola Scriptura in Life and LawThroughout our life, we see the world in a particular light. Whether by choice or subconsciously, we create a view of how we feel about situations in life. As Christians, we view the world through a biblical lens. We see the world as broken and dying. We see the sin that permeates the lives of all around us. We see how flawed humanity is and the reasoning behind itsdecisions. This view then governs how we act with those around us. Dr. John MacArthur wrote in an article for Answers in Genesis, "The Christian worldview sees and understands God the Creator and His creation-i.e., man and the world-primarily through the lens of God's special revelation, the Holy Scriptures, and secondarily through God's natural revelation in creation as interpreted by human reason and reconciled by and with Scripture." Dr. John MacArthur, What’s Your Worldview?, Answers in Genesis, (accessed August 25th, 2021, at 6:11 PM), . From this view, we get the doctrine of Sola Scriptura, Scripture alone.
