Casablanca Conference * Early meeting in North Africa * Allies determined to accept unconditional surrender only 3. Cairo, Egypt * Meeting that involves Roosevelt, Shang Kai Shek – Formosa – Taiwan * Formosa – island occupied by the Japanese * What will they do with these previously Japanese-run island * They will make these islands free 4. Tehran Conference * The Big 3 – At this meeting – They are discussing how the allies will finish the war in Europe * Roosevelt said that there would be a new front opened up * Stalin was suggesting that the Russians would help the Americans 5.
