COVID-19 StatementRCC cares about the health of its students, faculty, staff, and community. Thehealth, safety and well-being of students is paramount. RCC will continue tomonitor the COVID-19 pandemic and provide updates. Students should refer to theCOVID-19 Resource page on the College’s website for the latest Coronavirusinformation.Students who have been sick with COVID-19 symptoms, tested positive forCOVID-19, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 either throughcommunity-related exposure or international travel, must notify their faculty andare required to follow CDC guidance to stay home and self-isolate. Students shouldrefer toRCC’s COVID-19 Case Proceduresdocument located on the College’swebpage for the latest procedures.I understand that the College reserves the right to maintain a safe and orderlyeducational environment for students, staff, and visitors. When a student's conductdisrupts or threatens to disrupt the college community, appropriate action will betaken to restore and protect the stability and security of that community. COVID-19 Face Coverings Face Coverings in Class and Lab As stated in RCC's Student Code ofConduct, all students are considered responsible adults and are expected to conduct themselvesin accordance with generally accepted standards of behavior that are pertinent to providing allmembers of the College community with a safe environment that demonstrates respect for otherpersons, respect for property, and that contributes to a positive learning environment; and, anybehavior deemed by College officials to be a violation of accepted standards or decency orsafety, or which threatens the campus working or learning environment, or which are prohibitedby local, state, or federal law. In recognition of this responsibility, and in response to the bestavailable science, every student must wear an appropriate face mask/covering that covers theirnose and mouth while in the classroom and all other indoor public spaces.
