Be sure to keep this sample cover letter throughout the semester. Each of your four cover letters is to contain the following. (1) The first paragraph of your letter will serve as an introduction. (2) In the second paragraph, you are to discuss how you went about writing the first draft of your essay. (3) In the third paragraph of your letter, you are to write about how you worked on the second draft of the essay.
