The Exonerated Delbert – L.L. Cool J I chose L.L. Cool J for this role because I felt that Delbert was a strong character. In all of his rolls, he has portrayed very strong characters, for example, in the movie S.W.A.T. However, through this strength, he can still show much emotion, which I feel is crucial for Delbert’s character, since he delivers the narration and often delivers the message of the play/scene. Gary- Channing Tatum Channing Tatum has been in films such as Step Up and Coach Carter. In both movies, he plays characters that are strong and kind of rough, but still develop strong ties to people. I feel that this is how Gary is. While on the outside he seems kind of rough, being a farmer, he still has very strong feelings for his parents. This connection that he shows through his words on stage is very essential, because it shows how he is even less likely to kill his parents. Sue/Sandra/Female Lawyer- Julia Stiles The thing that lead me to choose Julia Stiles for this role was her versatility. She can be very cute and wife-like, as seen in Mona Lisa Smile
