According to George Bernard Shaw, all censorships exist to prevent anyone from challenging current conceptions and existing institutions. All progress is initiated by challenging current conceptions and executed by supplanting existing institutions. Consequently the first condition of progress is the removal of censorship. There is the whole case against censorship in a nutshell. The origins of intellectual freedom can be traced back to Socrates, who believed in the value and benefits of free discussion Censorship abounds in every part of our lives. It affects the movies we watch, the news we hear and see, and politics that affect everything around us. Censorship should be a crime. Free speech is an important part of every democracy The right to read/see uncensored news-media. CNN is the 2nd most censored news-media in western society. The 1st was the government controlled newspapers in Germany from 1938 to 1944. Censorship is becoming harsher in the future and we need to fight it. We all are facing some form of slander whether it is from other people to our face or
