English IV Final Review Hamlet John Milton On His Blindness Hamlet is very sad that his father  died and that his mother married his uncle 1 month afterwards. He  finds out his uncle killed his father, from his father's ghost. He then  lives to avenge his father's murder. He acts mad (crazy) and  accidentally kills Polonius. Then he, his mother, Polonius, and Laertes die in Act V.
