Training is essential for the growth and success of any firm. It benefits both the employers and the employees of a company. If an employee is properly trained, he will become more efficient and productive. As an employee my perspective regarding the importance of training in career progression are written below: Employees benefit from training in terms of job security and job happiness. The more satisfied and motivated an employee is, the more he will contribute to the organization's success and the lower employee absenteeism and turnover will be which will make a positive impact into the mind of employer. A well-trained employee will be more familiar with his or her job and require less supervision. As a result, time and effort will be saved which all the organization expects from their employee. Employees who lack the knowledge and abilities required to perform a specific job are more prone to make mistakes. The less likely an employee is to have an accident on the job, and the more proficient the employee becomes, the better. By doing so, they are noticed by the employers, which plays an important role in organizational career growth. During training, employees gain skills and efficiency. They grow more qualified for promotion. They become a valuable asset to the company. Employees' efficiency and production improve as a result of training. Employees that have been properly trained perform in both quantity and quality. When employees are effectively trained, there is less wastage of time, money, and resources. Productivity matters when it comes to career growth.
