PSY 3010 Frequency Distributions and Histograms SPSS Assignment 1 1. The following are the first exam grades for 48 students in a statistics class in Psychology. Using SPSS for Windows, enter these data (student number and grade) into the data editor. Name and label the variables. Provide an SPSS printout of the raw data and a frequency distribution and histogram for student grades. Save your work to your flash drive because you will need it for SPSS Assignments 2 and 3. Assume the traditional cutoffs for letter grades: A 90-100 B 80-89 C 70-79 D 60-69 E Below 60 a. How many students scored below the grade of B? b. What are the upper and lower real limits of the score received by the most students? c. What are the upper and lower real limits of the entire set of 48 scores? d. Looking at the histogram, what letter grade was received by the most students?
