Class recap Tuesday Today in class we started off my taking a quiz. After the quiz was done we then went over the quiz. After that we then started lecture. We first talked about a guy whose name was Marcion. He was a man who believed the Gods revealed in the Old Testament is not the God who is in the New Testament. He was a Greek. He also believed the Old Testament was not for the church. He also said that Matthew and Mark were not valid and the parts of Luke that talks about the Old Testament God is not valid. Dr. Hall said how this man cut out all of the parts that the New Testament talks about the Old Testament God. Paul was the complete opposite. Paul believed the God revealed in the Old Testament is the same God that is revealed in the New Testament. We talked about how Christianity is rooted in Judaism. We went over the two C’s that prove it the first C is the concept of the Covenant. Covenant is the first C which we have to understand. The second C is God of all Creation, we have to know and understand that God
