North taxes it right at the source so the colonists don’t relies. Creating a tea monopoly. Sons of Liberty encourage tea agents to resign. COLONIST stop from unloading there cargo. The Boston Tea Party. 90,000 lbs to the harbor. North has had it and issues a series of acts known as the Coercive acts 1. close Boston harbor 2. alter the mass. Colony charter. 3. any British royal official accused in the colonies will not be tried in the colonies but in England. 4. quartering Act (housing soldiers) 5. Quebec act in response- colonist will ravine. They will produce a declaration of rights. 1.. “we will agree to trade regulations, but what will we get out of it?” 2.. colonist impliment a limited boycott.
