Our world is currently too dependent on fossil fuels but fortunately, thanks to the United States army and General motor corps is combining their efforts and trying to create and efficient hydrogen fuel cell car. The Army is pitching in mainly because they feel it will greatly help future soldiers on the battlefield. They recently got the keys to the finished Chevrolet Equinox, the first fuel cell vehicle, and will start the beginning on a year of tests to see if it can be used by common people and the armed services. "Everything we're doing in the future involves power. Regular batteries won't do it," said Army Maj. Gen. Roger Nadeau, commander of the Army's Research, Development and Engineering Command. "The capability of this fuel cell to power the platform is a very exciting thing." A hydrogen fuel cell will produce less sound, less heat, less pollution, and will be cheaper eventually then a regular combustion engine. Currently the problem most people are thinking of is a system of refueling stations but our president ahs backed the hydrogen fuel cell system with 1.2 billion dollars which is good and as a result many automakers
