Managing Channel ConflictThe channel design of Amazon.com and Apple has several similarities and differences. Amazon.com is a channel where people can go and buy the product that they want and get other consumer feedback before they purchase the product. Amazon.com is an authorized retailer of many products. Apple is the producer of many products and distributes their products through their websites and stores as well as through other retailers and wholesalers. They have are similar because they are both trying to get the product to the customer as quick and as efficiently as possible. Both companies have information flow between all channels to know what is going on with the inventory. Amazon.com is also similar to Apple for the products and services that it provides.
