Introduction Course: NT1210 Week: 5 Lab: Internet Explorer Security Assignment In this lab, you will learn to configure Internet Explorer security settings. Story You are managing a cyber café that has eight Windows 7 computers. You need to apply security to the Internet Explorer browser on each computer to ensure users have a safe browsing experience. You want to ensure the following security options are configured in Internet Explorer: The user is not prompted for the security warning message when browsing HTTPS Web sites. No pop-up is displayed when the Internet is being browsed. Phishing Web sites are automatically detected. Programs or Web sites are prevented from changing the default search providers. Conditions You have one Windows 7 computer on which you will configure the Internet Explorer Web browser. Notes The local administrator user account password on the system is password . As you perform the various steps of the lab, you will need to update your lab report. You will send the lab report to your online instructor for evaluation after you quit the lab. Submit the following three screenshots to your online instructor for evaluation: 1) A screenshot of the enabled Pop-up Blocker with a High setting 2) A screenshot of the setting enabled for preventing programs and Web sites from changing the default search providers
