College Success
College success is one top priority for students who have recently graduated high school,
those who have returned to college after a break, and for the families of those who decided to
endeavor in this adventure. Success itself means the position and feeling of having accomplished
a goal in good standards for well-being. Nevertheless, sometimes starting college might be a
disgrace; it is imperative to be on the lookout for the signs of failure to avoid it. Astin et al.
(1993, 1997, 2001) mentioned “four essential principles of academic success in particular, and
college success in general,” which are: active involvement, utilization of campus resources,
social interaction/collaboration, and self-reflection; although, there exist more strategies to reach
success.
