Bradley Isbell 2.9.2010 Doctor David Bains Site Visit A A. Bethel Baptist Church Moody, Alabama Southern Baptist Convention St. Clair County Baptist Convention Service Attended: 2.7.2010 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning worship service #1 of 2 B. This is my home church. I spend most Sunday’s here unless I am out of town. I serve as a youth Sunday school teacher and serve on staff so I am involved here most often. C. The campus is pretty large at Bethel. As you drive up from US Highway 411 you are met with a large LED sign welcoming you to the church. As you park you are ushered into the main en- trance by our greeters who are at every entrance to ensure people are well taken care of. The campus includes four buildings including the worship building (Worship Center, offices, confer- ence space), education building, children’s building, and the Christian Life Center. I will focus on the worship building as it serves as the main focal area on any given Sunday. Entering the main worship building you encounter a large cavernous foyer that is full of people. On one side is a large map covering a large portion of the wall flanked by many world flags de- tailing the importance of world evangelism to the church. As you walk further you encounter ta- bles and stations detailing ministries and events available at Bethel. Greeters from individual ministries are available to speak with anyone that makes there way through the foyer. This sun- day our counseling ministry, Celebrate Recovery Ministry, and women’s ministry were highlight- ed in the foyer. Concerning art in the foyer space we have a few paintings of the church and a banner with a bible verse but everything else in the space is used as “advertising for events.”

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
