Francis Connelly Health 3350 Case #6 Reflection The last case study was a very successful experience. Being able to look at the situation from an outside point of view and give advise on what the employee should do was great experience to prepare for the future when we are out in the field. Looking at the story without being a part of it, it is easy to underline all the problems and see the fraud for what it really is. But when you are actually in that situation it is probably harder to see right from wrong and the lines may become a little blurred. Preparing for it now will be helpful to know the signs of fraud when we are health service administrators. Staffing is definitely a management function by process that needs addressed with this case study. It seems as if management purposefully hired someone with not enough experience or background in accounting so it would be easier to tell them what to do without them knowing it was wrong.
