Sorgea 1 The Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring (2001) is a motion picture based upon the great works of J.R.R. Tolkien, of the same name. The film is the first of a trilogy that has inspired millions of readers throughout decades, and now New Zealand Filmmaker, Peter Jackson, has given this same opportunity to millions of movie-goers around the world. There are many different plots within the story but they all are focused around the main protagonist’s struggles with a fight against good versus evil. The main thrust of the story is driven by the idea of man versus man, later on man versus nature. The story focuses around a young hobbit by the name of Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) who lives in the small town of Hobbiton, located in the Shire where the first hobbits settled in Middle Earth. Frodo finds himself on a twisted quest to destroy the one ring that will ultimately destroy Sauron, the evil war lord who created the One Ring to enslave Middle Earth before he was destroyed, all that is left of him is his life-force
