Who Marries Whom? 1. Depends on all things that have to do with status 2. People around the same age 3. Same level of education 4. Same social class 5. Same Race/Ethnicity 1. Slowly changing over time. 2. Still the exception 6. Same religious belief 7. Basically, pretty much marry people similar to us. 8. Propinquity – special nearness
