B. A manner or the content of thinking characteristic of an individual,  group, or culture. C. the integrated assertions, theories and aims that constitute a  sociopolitical program. Ideologies are not necessarily material, but they are connected to apparatuses that make them material Coded in our bodies, minds, and cultures There are several definitions of ideology… Can be defined as a system of beliefs held by a characteristic of a specific group or class of people System of illusory beliefs- false consciousness General process of production of ideas and meanings Ideology produces meanings through signs. It uses systems of signification to create ideas and especially  values about certain things. People embody these signs.
