IntroductionThe Primary Year Program (PYP), is basically a transdisciplinary curriculum thatcomprises of queries over the key transdisciplinary themes, these themes are designed andconducted cross each primary grade and construct a whole primary phase. There are six basicinquiries completed by the students in every year out of which four are in early years and theseare schedules along with teaching in specific subjects in accordance of the prescribed curriculum.During the primary education students cover almost 50 inquiries assuming that they are at pre-school or primary school lying in the age group of 3-12 years. The inquiries and the learning ofthe student are exhibit at the end of the year in the form of exhibition. The oral and writtenperformances of the students are accessed internally rather than externally. The utilization ofinnovative and diverse approaches in the curriculum has increased with time, the requirements ofunderstating the world more comprehensively increases. The relevancy and adequacy of themodern education system are monitored on the basis of policy adaptation that have enhancedimpact on the students learning abilities. The study will focus on the rationale of the PYP plan.Furthermore, the aspects and elements included in the plan are critically evaluated and presentedin the study.Rationale of Planning DocumentMy core preference in reviewing the planner is how diversity can be made in its encouragementof learning and teaching. I, at the existing phase, felt that the planner is additional work ascompared to it is reflective tool. Furthermore, it leads itself to create a plan for the prospectiveteacher or the next year, which is beyond the principles of inquiry learning. Moreover, inquirylearning must be led by the questions of learners. I do no find the planner, in my own practice, tobe a lively document that is a segment of the daily life of the classroom. It is something I fill out
at the end on the server since that is what it is intended to be done. I think that it must be directlyassociated to what is believed regarding knowing, learning, and teaching based on the designissue.It is assumed, in the PYP, that learning is usually linked with what is genuinely an elementglobally around the student, not only what others contrived and when induced upon the studentin schools. Imagination is an essential element of learning and inquiry and some of the mostdynamic and learning filled moments have been spent in the extreme abstract in my class, notassociated to the real world and reality at all. Nonetheless, I assume that if we requirecomprehensively bringing it back and engaging it to their world at the end of all this imaginationand the detachment from the real world.
