I chosethe “Appeal of 18 June” speech byCharles de Gaulle. The main reason behindchoosing this inspiring speech was the fact that I knew, General de Gaulle is a very famousand popular politician of all time not only in France but in the whole world. On June 18, 1940,General de Gaulle gave this speech, one year after the beginning of World War II.The most important part of the speech, in my opinion, is when he said “This war is notlimited to the unfortunate territory of our country. This war is not finished by thebattle of France.
