Hi KaveniaI completely agree with your point that discipline approach is very important to run theoperations of organization effectively and efficiently. Moreover, there are three main approachesto discipline. They are incorrect discipline, preventive discipline and positive discipline.Incorrect DisciplineWhich refers to the usage of improper and incorrect measures to enforce discipline in theorganization. It includes Late intervention which means that if manager ignores it and allows theproblemto continue, then solving it becomes difficult in the later stages. This is referred to as alate intervention or procrastination discipline. Other one is Labeling employees not behavior inwhich managers sometimes tend to labelemployees because of their unsatisfactory performanceon a job. Such labeling has certain negative implications (Rampa, 2014).Preventive DisciplineIn this, employees are managed in a way that prevents undesirable behavior or misconduct.
