2The Main Idea Learned About Personal Finance and Financial LiteracyThroughout my readings I have found that the best personal finance and financialliteracy advise I received was that budgeting is very important. It is hard to just go off a whimand plan for a trip or monthly bills because in the end you could be left shorthanded. It isimportant to plan accordingly to make sure you have enough funds for whatever you may entail.I personally plan out all my funds at the beginning of the month plus a little extra (just in case).With my remaining money I split it 50/50. Half goes into my savings and the other half is my“allowance” until the next paycheck. I started noticing when I have less funds available, I tend tospend less so it is a good mental strategy for me.
