Part 1 The question for this Unit is, what is does the word “Wiki” mean? Why is this useful? How can businesses use wikis to their advantage? Let's start by answering the first question. The definition for “Wiki” is; according to the definition at Wikipedia , (the most well known wiki) is a collaborative website where the users can contribute. If any user who is at this type of site would like to contribute to the page, make corrections, or additions, the "Edit This Page" button will change this page from a static web page to a word processing document. It is as easy as that. Then again, most pages are confined with the goal that just welcomed visitors can contribute. Most wikis are more open to partners yet demands to join the wiki are needed. This is a protection for the coordinator to have the capacity to have some level of control over the substance and the writers. The vital piece of wikis and what makes them not quite the same as whatever other sort of site, is the community oriented altering by the clients. Looking at this
