Table of Contents DESCRIPTION OF MARKET Target Market Our primary market is the local college community surrounding the Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) campus. The All-Star Bar & Grill will be located within walking distance to the PLU campus for our intended customers convenience; “the college student”. We will offer an ideal environment as hangout for the average college student. Our secondary market is the surrounding local community, sports fans, and families of the Tacoma area. Our bar and grill offers multiple televisions and games for an avid sports fanatic. It is a excellent place for families to come enjoy savory foods and watch sporting events. All-Star Bar and Grill is also the perfect hangout for the local community. It will be your new favorite place in town. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The All-Star Bar and Grill is a new restaurant and bar that is geographically located in the Parkland, Washington neighborhood; which is in a convenient location close to the PLU campus. The restaurant features a variety of tasteful foods and refreshing beverages. Where else can you can you go to play games, basketball, eat, drink, and watch the game all under one roof? Only at 1

the All-Star Bar & Grill! All of which support our motto of “Sports, Booze, and a lot of Food!” Our concept offers a lively environment filled with entertainment and appetizing food at an affordable price. Our inviting atmosphere creates the most unique sports bar in town. Our decor is sports themed with banners and jersey’s hung on the walls. In addition, the floor will have a drawn in layer of sports fields such as a baseball diamond underlayed in the floors foundation. We want to establish our brand as the best bar and grill in the greater Tacoma area. We will establish our brand through rigorous marketing, our unique environment, and through buzz marketing once we are established as a quality business in the community. Our concept is further strengthened by our emphasis on operational excellence, supported by stringent operating guidelines and comprehensive employee training. Our business goal is to continue to grow and develop the All-Star Bar & Grill. To do so, we plan to execute the following: • Offer a variety of seasoned foods on an affordable menu. • Create an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere. • Enable our guests to customize their dining experience. • Continue to strengthen the All-Star Bar & Grill name. • Focus on operational excellence. • Maximize profits while maintaining affordable entertainment and food.
