Parker Rhine Reyes 3/27/08 Annotated Bibliography Kahn, Roger. “The Jackie Robinson I Remember.” The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education (Winter, 1996-1997): 88-93. Roger Kahn was a friend and teammate of Jackie Robinson. His article shows some of the racial discrimination that Jackie went through to become the baseball player and legend he has. Just like the Younger family had to go through to get what they wanted. I like this article because the person writing it is not just a random author. The author of “The Jackie Robinson I Remember” is Jackie’s friend and teammate. So Kahn is telling his story from a firsthand experience. Brown, Avoine. "The Beginning."
