Parker Rhine MU 2313.253 Will Rogers, 12:30 PM, 2/27/07 Morris Nelms’s Class Room Critique #3, Theatre Critique #1 I got to watch the reenactment of Will Rogers in Professor Nelms’s class, and before the play I did not know anything about Will Rogers. Obviously Will Rogers was a huge attraction in the early 19 th century, and it was really awesome to watch a man who grew up idolizing Will Rogers act as him. I did not know that I was going to class to watch a play; however I am glad that I was able to be entertained by the performance and learn something about history. The man acting as Will Rogers did a great job before going straight into character leading up and informing the audience about what was going on during the time period and exactly who Will Rogers was. The actor talks about the stock market crash and the great depression. He also describes Will Rogers’s personality and talks about how he became famous and his whole life background. Then after the audience started getting a grasp of who Will Rogers was, the actor
