Justin Silverman My Self Evaluation for Speech on Public Speaking Watching myself on video made me realize that among other things, I did not do nearly as badly, I did not show my fear of public speaking nearly as much as I had remembered. What I had thought was my voice shaking was nothing more than a short warble of a breath. Similarly my improved side comments did seem to be quite funny,

I do however have trouble excluding filler words such as um and uh from my presentation, forty were counted. I seem to have particular trouble with this since I have integrated these filler words into my everyday speech. This to me seems to be one of the largest detractors from the effectiveness of my speech....
