Genesis, a Living Conversation My whole life I grew up thinking that The Great Flood was a beautiful event. Every Sunday school teacher that taught me would illustrate this catastrophe as a remarkable event filled with joy. I was shown videos of beautiful doves flying in the air while cows graze on luscious green fields. The Great Flood seemed to be a beautiful disaster. However, watching Genesis, a Living Conversation , opened my eyes to different points of view that were never visible to me before. Never before in the past have I looked at The Great Flood as an event that was a tragedy. God sent down forty days of flood to destroy all mankind except for Noah and his family. After watching this debate, I realized that The Great Flood was not so beautiful after all. The people in the debate brought up how people blame God for certain events of the flood. They were explaining how some people blame God for the events of The Great Flood. I feel that these people only had a one sided point of view. They saw The Great Flood in a way that was not
