Border Security- fences, patrols Population- Baby boomers need support Citizenship- Keep other illegal citizens out while keeping the illegal ones here? Economics- Border Security, Expenditure supporting immigrants. Budgetary Costs not equal to all states. Gateway states need more money for immigration Studies suggest immigration hurts low skilled workers and drives down wages.
