Web AssignmentWebsite design is an increasingly popular way to advertise and reach out to consumers.There are some companies that rely on website advertising to close sales as they are onlyavailable to consumers online. This is becoming an uprising trend for many athletic clothingcompanies, or now referred to as athleisure. I have selected two very popular athleisure brands toreview, as this is an area I am recently very curious about as far as advertising and marketinggoes. Paragon and NVGTN are two widely popular athleisure companies that have the sametarget audience, relatively close prices, and offer similar styles of athletic wear; however, theirwebsites have a few differences between them that highlight one brand over another.Each site is appealing to the eye and has a nice aesthetic to it. The very first thing thatcatches your eye on both pages is of course the financial incentives offered by the brand. Paragonhighlights theirs at the very top of the page, on every page-“Free U.S. shipping over $100. Shipsin 1-2 business days”(Paragon). While NVGTN has a reeling widget at the top of their pages thatoffers “FREE US SHIPPING WHEN YOU SPEND MORE THAN $75” and “FREEINTERNATIONAL SHIPPING WHEN YOU SPEND MORE THAN $150”(NVGTN). Justfrom this aspect alone we can conclude that NVGTN has a broader target audience that includesan international consumer base and have made sure to include them in their financial incentives.Paragon on the other hand does not advertise any incentives for their international consumers andtherefore falls short on incentivizing that target audience to purchase from them.
