Unformatted text preview: Erin McClure Commonplace Article Ms. Linzie Wells Young adults across the world participate in various weekend activities, many involving the underage consumption of alcohol or partying late into the night. At OSU, we as students are introduced almost weekly to drinking, sex, violence, and even crime. Although numerous students seek out environments which encourage these activities, the underlying problems are undeniable, and the results present a negative image of our school. It is time for these issues to be solved, and the men and women for the job are the resident necessary evil on campus, the undercover police. In the United States, there is an immense problem with underage binge drinking, which makes our country fairly unique in this issue. 90% of the alcohol consumed by underage drinkers is in the form of binge drinking.
