A Message about “Take a Trip through Latin American Culture”Enjoy the Latin American culture and explore all of the different aspects, in regards tomusic, food, clothing and much more! You will be able to explore pieces of artwork created byyoung women around the world. This exhibit will display the many talents of Latin Americanartists throughout many decades. Some of them you may have never heard of and many will bevery familiar to you. I hope that when you walk out of my exhibit today that you have a betterunderstanding of the Latin American culture and the young women who have influenced it. Iencourage you to research more about it on your own.My exhibit has the goal of allowing you to explore the Latin American culture that doesnot get talked about enough in the United States. Even though you may see many differentMexican foods and music in America, the real culture and the history behind it is not displayedenough. Also, the emphasis on young women making an impact in this world is very importantto talk about. There are so many young women in this world that have made such a large impacton society and culture and they deserve the recognition that I am hoping to give them.Espero que todos disfruten de la exposición y se tomen el tiempo para explorar y apreciarla cultura latinoamericana. (In English: I hope you all enjoy the exhibit and take the time toexplore and appreciate the Latin American culture!)
A Message about the Space“Take a Trip through Latin American Culture” will take place in a setting that resemblesMachu Picchu. It is along a path that is surrounded by the classical Inca style walls and dry stonewalls. Machu Picchu is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and I hope that I am doing itjustice in my exhibit. My idea is to show the beauty of the landmark and connect it with thebeauty of all these young Latin American women. Participants will be able to walk along thepath freely and you can go to each artwork as many times as you would like.
