Isn't this a one-time case? Maybe. Butwhile nearly everyone pines for a return to "normal," we believe we must learn fromwhat has worked while being forced to teach in this way and what hasn't. We must beready to do this better in the future, for two reasons. First, we need to learn to do remotelearning well as an alternative way to provide learning time because we will have moreinterruptions in schooling, as we always have had. Meanwhile, for too many students,schooling is often disrupted because of family mobility, frequently tied to housing andeconomic insecurity. And of course, this pandemic and its impact on school operationsmay not be over by the end of this school year.Second, we need to use innovativelearning tools and strategies far more effectively if and when we return to a moretraditional version of schooling, both to expand learning time and better personalizelearning. Once mandatory remote learning is over, we should capture the best of theseefforts and incorporate them into our instructional repertoire.What I learnedReflectionActionWork immersion is astage where thegraduating studentscan show their skillsand talents when itcomes to their chosencourses. And also,because of this workimmersion, they canalso apply whatthey’ve had beenlearned during theirclasses hour.This immersion reallya beneficial for thestudents to enhancetheir skills and toenligthten their mindsfor the things thatthey are lack of. Andthis work immersionis considered as thestepping stone for thestudents to practiceand develop their selffor what they havechosen.It improves and buildsnew skills.Immersions will havestudents gain newskill sets and improvetheir existingcapabilities. It is alsothrough immersionthat students get todiscover themselvesand jumpstart theirprofessional growth.
