There are a lot of pros and cons on the legalizing of euthanasia (the practice of having an agreed medically-assisted death) in the states. Legalizing euthanasia in the United States promises that people who are terminally ill don’t have to suffer if they want to . Everyday people lye in hospital beds suffering from such things as Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, leukemia, and various kinds of cancer. That is why I believe that anyone who is suffering from a terminal illness should have the right to end their suffering if they choose. Already it has been legalized in Oregon, and I hope that one day all over the world people who can’t bare the pain any longer will have the opportunity to end their pain Death is something that everyone will encounter one day, but for some it comes a lot sooner then others. Leukemia is a cancer of the blood or bone marrow that takes a terrible toll on its victims. For many who come encounter with this terrible disease death is inevitable, and for everyone suffering from this horrific disease pain is a promise. People diagnosed with leukemia usually are hospitalized for long periods of time, and closely watched so that any time their illness takes a turn for the worst they can be treated immediately. Euthanasia isn’t for everyone, and that is why it is just an option. People can
