Chelsy McDaniel MU 2313.2 11/04/2006 The Majestic Critue#8 Theatre#2 I began seeing plays at the majestic from a very young age. My mother began taking me while I was still active in performing arts. I loved going to the Majestic Theatre and watching these great plays because I got to see live actors do what they do best. The most recent play I was able to enjoy with my mom was All Shook Up. The play was about Elvis Presley coming to a town that needed more groove to the atmosphere. One lady in particular wouldn’t have it, she was furious with Mr. Presley and his bad habits, as she recalls. But her feelings for him began to change when she realized so had the town, but his eyes were set on someone else. He was fascinated with a woman who didn’t consider Mr. Presley a companion. The town had finally begun to come together with Elvis’s new music and fancy dance moves. This musical was able to give the life of Elvis Presley to those who never were able to see and understand the talent that man had. I have liked Elvis ever since I was a little girl and I was lucky to have grow up listening to his music. From his movies to his singing and even his personal life this play was able to touch all areas of Elvis’s life.
