PROJECT 5 2 Provide a review of the nature of the case against Naylon and Rehak. They were sentenced for stealing money while executing a search warrant. They were charged with one count of theft of government funds and one count of conspiracy to violate the civil rights of inhabitants of the State of Minnesota. Rehak got 35 months in prison and two years’ supervised release, Naylon for 30 months in prison and two years supervised release and both of them we ordered to pay $7,500 in fines. Provide a list of evidence that you could use or when you could use it. You could use the search warrants but there was discrepancies found with them and there was not one for the Hotel room where they supposedly found the “missing money” Can you use information gathered in a criminal investigation in an employee investigation? Yes you can as long it is given voluntarily and not forced.
